Defect Analysis

This service is designed for people who are seeking a professional opinion about a defect in their property, such as structural movement, cracking, damp, poor construction or maintenance issues and is based on a detailed assessment.

If you would like to use this service, we will:

​

• Survey the relevant area of the property

• Identify the defect(s) and the cause and/or potential causes

• Prepare a report including the above information and identify the necessary remedial works and/or further investigations required

Where we are concerned about a hidden problem or defect, we will try to identify these and explain the risk they pose and what action you should take. Where we cannot draw to a reasonable conclusion during our survey, we will make recommendations for further investigations, however this will usually be the exception.
